Joseph J. Pezza joined Rodio & Ursillo, Ltd. in 1995, and was named a Principal of the Firm in 2002.
Joe’s practice includes labor & employment matters, employee benefits, and general private and public business matters. Joe has represented and continues to represent Rhode Island police department employee municipal labor organizations; international Taft Hartley labor unions and their associated employee benefit funds; public and private employers; municipal pension funds and said funds’ governing bodies; and other similar entities.
His areas of representation include collective bargaining agreement and contract negotiation matters; the administration of municipal and ERISA-governed plans providing employee pension, health, and other benefits; the preparation and negotiation of service provider agreements, insurance policies, investment agreements, and similar agreements; legal aspects of the investment of pension fund assets; matters concerning state and federal regulatory laws and agencies; and other matters of general representation.
